In deiner Rolle als Senior Network Engineer (m/w/d) übernimmst du die Implementierung, Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung moderner Netzwerk- und Firewall-Infrastrukturen mit Schwerpunkt auf Fortinet-Technologien. Darüber hinaus verantwortest du den Betrieb von Switches und Access Points sowie die Umsetzung individueller Netzwerk- und Security-Lösungen für Kunden. Auch die Analyse und Behebung komplexer technischer Störungen sowie grundlegende Azure-Netzwerkthemen gehören zu deinem Aufgabenbereich. Mit deinem Know-how in Netzwerktechnik, Firewall-Management und Cloud-Netzwerken unterstützt du Kunden bei der Gestaltung leistungsfähiger und sicherer IT-Umgebungen. Firewall-Infrastrukturen mit Technologien wie FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer und FortiSASE werden von dir implementiert, betreut und kontinuierlich erweitert
Auch die Bereitstellung sowie der Support von Switches und Access Points verschiedener Hersteller wie Unifi, Cisco Meraki und Fortinet gehören zu deinem Aufgabenbereich
Kunden unterstützt du bei der Planung ihrer Netzwerkarchitektur und setzt individuelle, passgenaue Lösungen um
Komplexe technische Störungen analysierst und behebst du eigenständig über unser Ticket-System
Zu deinen Tätigkeiten zählen außerdem grundlegende Azure-Netzwerkfunktionen wie vNETs und Virtual Network Gateways
Die Pflege und Aktualisierung der Netzwerkdokumentation erfolgt mithilfe von Tools wie Confluence, Jira und ITSM

Qualifikation

Ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik (Bachelor oder Master), eine IT-Berufsausbildung als Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation bringst du mit
Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in der Netzwerktechnik sowie im Firewall-Management zeichnet dich aus
Mit Fortinet-Lösungen wie FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer und FortiSASE bist du vertraut
Gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Switching-Technologien und entsprechender Konzepte, unter anderem mit Cisco Meraki und Aruba, gehören zu deinem Profil
